La Romanita brings together the bold flavors of Cuba and the refined technique of Italian cuisine — an unexpected fusion that feels entirely at home on Hialeah's vibrant dining scene.
At the helm is Chef Reinier "Rey" Mendez, whose résumé reads like a tour of Miami's finest kitchens: former executive chef at Lure Fish Bar, Casa Tua Cucina, and Naked Crab. Rey brings that level of craft to every plate.
From homemade pastas and handcrafted thin-crust pizzas to prime cuts from La Finca and whole crispy snapper — this is serious food in a relaxed, lively space. Live jazz and trova music on weekends. Open late Thursday through Saturday.

Lunch and dinner daily. Thursday through Saturday we stay open until 1am — the later the better at La Romanita.
